Pittsburgher, Nancy Langston, of Mt. Lebanon, has become Program Director of the Chautauqua Dance Circle. In this position she will be responsible for coordinating nine lectures during the nine weeks of Chautauqua’s summer season. CDC was co-founded by former Pittsburgher, Bonnie Crosby five years ago. CDC is a supportive, enthusiastic link between Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Artistic Director of Chautauqua’s summer Dance Program, and the Chautauqua Community, dedicated to assuring that Chautauqua Dance remains competitive with other summer dance programs and continues its tradition of excellence. Each year a major portion of CDC’s annual dues goes toward student scholarships presented to the Chautauqua Institution and designated Chautauqua Dance Circle-Dance Scholarship.
